今回のブログでは、エルトン・ジョンとブリトニー・スピアーズのコラボ曲’Hold Me Closer’を和訳します。
8月26日にリリースされたこの曲のジャケット写真は、ふたりの幼少期の写真が使われていてすごくキュート！
最近はTikTokやInstagramでのバズが意識されている曲がリリースされることが多い気がします。エルトン・ジョンはDua LipaとのCold Heartも大ヒットしていますが、大御所がたくさんのポップスターと共演してくれて嬉しい限りです。

この曲は、エルトン・ジョンとブリトニー・スピアーズが現在MV制作に取り掛かっているそう。大規模な制作になると海外のメディアでも報道されているので、期待してしまいますね。
最近、自宅で結婚式を挙げたブリトニーですが、私はNetflixで配信された「ブリトニー対スピアーズ」というドキュメンタリー作に衝撃を受けました。父親のジェイミーがブリちゃんの後見人になり、いわば奴隷のように働かされ、監視されていたというショッキングな内容で、海外やSNSでは「#FreeBritney」というブリトニーの自由を訴えかける運動も起こっていました。
現在は後見人制度が解除され、晴れて自由の身になったブリちゃん。本当に良かった！！
そんな中めでたく結婚し、プライベートを充実させているブリちゃん。業界の大御所エルトン・ジョンと共にリリースしたこの曲をきっかけに、また新しい歴史を作って欲しいです。
