今回のブログでは、The Weekndのアルバム’Beauty Behind The Madness’に収録されている’Real Life’の歌詞和訳をします。
7年前の今日、The Weekndはこのアルバムをリリース。1曲目に収録されている’Real Life’が大好きなのですが、和訳をしているサイトが1つもないことを知りました。

の部分の訳し方が難しかったのですが、The Weekndことエイベル・テスファイは、女性にモテまくっているものの、最終的に長続きしないことを母親に言及されたというニュアンスだと感じました。
ひとりを愛することはない。もう天国には行けない・・・。これが俺の現実。
というような、The Weekndらしい歌詞になっています。
